Electronic Information Resources Working Group
The Association’s Executive Board established the Electronic Information Resources Working Group (EIR WG) on December 7, 2021. This group was formed in response to key themes prevalent within the academic library community.
Over time, the EIR WG has become especially important in its functioning as a platform and community for questions (and sometimes answers) about EIR and sharing experiences.
Currently, the group is focusing on the following areas:
- Sharing experiences with interesting EIRs
- Sharing experiences in accessing and managing EIRs
- Addressing challenges related to the promotion of EIRs and library services
- Cooperation with the CzechELib National Centre
- Transformation Agreements (TA), especially the Read part
- EIRs in teaching
- AI tools with impact on EIR
- Enhancing outreach activities
The EIR WG meets monthly online. Discussions are conducted in Czech. For further information or inquiries, please get in touch with the head of the working group – see below.
